As you all are aware, the present scenario of Pandemic has made social distancing/ self quarantine almost mandatory, leaving the only viable option to provide a nodal forum for exchange of multidisciplinary scientific activities as webinars.

With this in view, we had our first webinar on 4th of July, 2020 comprising of four talks on Pandemic Perceptiveness in the Post Covid-19 world by four eminent speakers with expertise par excellence in the respective fields.

Friends, you must be remembering it was a mammoth success with record registration of 650+ candidates…we had to actually close the registration due to technical problems.

1. Recently revived Chennai Chapter, renamed as Tamlnadu Chapter is collaborating with us.

Meeting was held at Office of Head of Chemistry Department, R T M Nagpur University Campus, Nagpur on Saturday, 18.06.2020, 12:15 pm to discuss about the proceedings of One Day Webinar. It was attended by-

It was decided that One Day Webinar would be organized. The details of which are as follows-

Tentative Title: One Day Webinar on Pandemic Preparedness/ Awareness in view of COVID-19. (Title is to be reframed without altering the theme).
Date & Time: The Webinar is scheduled on Saturday, 04.07.2020 at 10:00 am to 01:00 pm.
Platform: Google Meet. Only limited persons including organizers and speakers would be allowed in the chatroom and the webinar proceedings would be made live on YouTube.
Resource Persons: The resource persons & their tentative topics are-

Topic: Impact of Biological Warfare Agents In the Post COVID-19 World

Topic: Consequences of using chemical sanitizers and disinfectants.

Topic: Personal protection for community during pandemic.

Topic: Relevance of community preparedness during pandemic situation.

Duration of Lecture: Each lecture would be of 30 minutes duration. The moderated questions from audience would be taken up for panel discussion after the end of all the lecture sessions.
Venue of Webinar: Webinar is to be organized from M.Sc-I Lecture Hall, Chemistry Dept., RTMNU following all social distancing norms. The organizers are required to report to the venue atleast by 09:15 am on 04.07.2020 for smooth conduction of the event.

The GBM of ISAS Nagpur Chapter

The GBM of ISAS Nagpur Chapter held on November30,2019 got concluded successfully constituting the Executive Body of the Chapter with Dr. Raghaw Saran as observer on behalf of the President and EC of ISAS (HQ).
